2. Booking Process and Fees

2.1. BookaTrot provides a technical connection between horse riding businesses and customers.

2.2. The service is free for businesses; however, riders will be charged a booking fee of 2% and a payment processing fee of 1.7% of the total booking amount.

2.3. Prices displayed on the website are in the local currency according to the country the business you are booking services with is based in.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. Cancellations made by the customer:

3.1.1. Cancellations are subject to the individual business’s cancellation policy.

3.1.2. If the cancellation is made within the parameters of the business’s policy, the customer will receive a full refund, including the booking fees, which will be provided as BookaTrot store credit.

3.2. Refunds after completed sessions:

3.2.1. All bookings should be considered non-refundable; however, customers have the right to apply for a refund within 14 days after the completion of the horse riding session.

3.2.2. All refund requests are subject to the discretion of the respective business.

4. Rider Requirements and Safety

4.1. All riders must comply with safety instructions provided by the horse riding businesses.

4.2. Participants should be in good physical health and free from any medical conditions that may be exacerbated by horse riding.

4.3. Riders must wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets, during the horse riding activity.

5. Age Restrictions

5.1. Participants must meet the minimum age requirements for horse riding activities as specified by the businesses.

5.2. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be required to sign the necessary liability waiver on their behalf.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. All content on the BookaTrot website, including text, images, and logos, is the intellectual property of BookaTrot and its affiliated businesses and may not be used without explicit permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookaTrot and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform or participation in horse riding activities.

14.1. Horse riding businesses listed on BookaTrot have an obligation to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those set forth by governing bodies such as The British Horse Society, Pony Club, or other relevant authorities.

14.2. Businesses failing to meet their obligations, engaging in illegal activities, or violating any relevant laws may be subject to removal from BookaTrot without any liability or counterclaim against BookaTrot.

14.3. BookaTrot reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating a business’s listing, should there be any reasonable suspicion of violations or non-compliance with obligations.

15. Closure of Accounts for Violations

15.1. BookaTrot reserves the right to suspend or terminate customer accounts without prior notice if they are found to be in violation of these terms and conditions or any applicable laws, including but not limited to fraudulent activities, misuse of the platform, or engaging in any harmful or disruptive behavior.

15.2. Customers whose accounts are closed due to violations will not be entitled to any refunds or compensation for lost bookings or credits.

16. Severability

16.1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Waiver
